An attitude that we have that Ants Doesn’t
Have you ever wondered why ants are always present in almost every place that we go to? Whether it is in our home, offices, restaurants, and many other places on Earth. Even though in the Sahara Desert where the temperature exceeds 38 to 40 °C. Eventually, if we try to get rid of these insects, they will never stop what they are doing. It is because that there’s An attitude that we have that Ants Doesn’t.
Almost every one of us tend to quit our jobs, our goals, and even our dreams once we have experienced losses, fears, lack of resources, and especially failures. We tend to stop at thinking and trying again to achieve the goals that we have. We would rather choose to live inside of our comfort zones than push ourselves to focus on how we can achieve our goals. This is an attitude that we have that Ants Doesn’t
They don’t have the attitude of giving up. Even when ants fight, it is usually to the death. If we call for help from the pest control, in the next two or more months, they will constantly show up again and again. They will look for another place to settle and start to build their colony again. They are likely to show how unstoppable they are.
Ants are always looking for food and other necessities that they need. They have to do this to be able to survive and also to yield what the queen needs for her to remain healthy and to lay more eggs. Some ants help each other to cross on water by creating a bridge to let their other companions to pass through. Even if there is always danger ahead of their adventure on searching for food, they don’t hold back on their goal. Instead, they focus more on what they need to do.
Watch how Ants build a bridge with their body.
Imagine that these ants are the ideas in your mind, you are the queen, and the queen’s eggs are the product of your ideas. If you let your mind focus on what the queen needs and on how to be successful, nothing can stop you on thinking and doing of things on how your goals will happen. You will always find a way even if someone is trying to get rid of you, or even if the situation challenges you to stop what you are doing. You will push yourself to achieve your goals and to attain the result that you want.
The attitude that Ants have that we can adopt
As I’ve searched for the attitude of ants, I realized that we can adopt the attitude that they have. These are some of their attitude that I really like from the ants:
There are three kinds of ants in a colony: workers, queen, and males. Each kind of ant does a different job and they recognize the tasks that they need to do in order to get them done quickly and efficiently. They know where to put things in the right places. Even lay eggs by their queen a specific ant will rearrange it.
These ants are unselfish because the abdomen of the ant contains two stomachs; the first stomach holds the food for itself. While the second stomach is for food to be shared with other ants. They hold a separate stomach, willing to share food that is stored in it. When an ant finds food, it immediately lets the rest of the ants know about it by marking its path with a chemical scent. Then, other ants will travel along this trail until there’s no food for them to get.
Ants neither have a guide, nor a director to instruct them on what to perform. They must learn to carry out their works dutifully without anyone watching over them. With this ability, an ant is able to manage its work dutifully irrespective of any prevailing circumstance. Whenever they are marching, they make sure that they are marching in a straight line. Providing that everyone keeping their own spot in that line.
We can say that ants are determined because they stand out in spite of any obstacle that they face. This is evidence that is obviously seen throughout their quest for survival. They work tirelessly all day and are genuinely focused on their search for food.
Ants can solve big problems because they are persistent. If there is an obstacle in their way, other ants will come and group together to move it or find another path around it. If an ant found a big chunk of food, they will come together to pull or break it into small pieces and store it in their nest.
They find and store food throughout the year to get them through the winter. When building a new nest, ants connect a trail from the new nest to an existing settlement or food source to provide and support for the growth of the new community. It is carefully planned in relation to its environment and subsequently expands its boundaries as its population grows. It is as if they have a bird’s eye view, ants know how big each settlement should be by taking into account the size and distance of neighbouring settlements and the availability of resources around.
The attitudes of the Ants if we reflect it on our life.
By Being ;

We can overcome laziness and procrastination, and fulfil the promises that we make to ourselves and as well as to others. It is the ability to reject instant gratification and pleasure. It avoids unhealthy excess of anything that could lead to negative consequences.
We can deal with any obstacles on the path to our goal by pushing these obstacles aside or finding a new path around them. It helps us keep moving regardless of what’s put in front of us. With determination, failure is just a diversion, but it is not the end.
We can maintain an action, regardless of our feelings even when we feel like quitting. It allows us to keep taking action, even when we don’t feel motivated to do so. Therefore, we keep accumulating great results and achieve important goals.
